| Microsoft Office 15 Technical Preview Shows a Metro Touch If you are really taken by the Metro look and feel of Windows 8, you are probably also going to love the new Microsoft Office. The Metro look is spilling over into the next version of Windows Office, but it is still too early to determine exactly how much influence it will have. Office 15 is now in private beta and is expected to go public beta sometime during the summer. The "Ribbon," a strip of commands first introduced in Office 2007, returns in Office 15, but it's hidden by default, adding to the software's minimalist vibe. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/03/...metro_ touch/ |
