 |  Microsoft and AMD get all excited about AI AI on chips Software King of the World Microsoft is excited about AI and thinks AMD's new AI engine could help its cunning plans. Vole's Panos Panay Panay is looking to use AMD's AI to help Microsoft usher in the next generation of AI-powered software. "AI is the defining technology of our time. It's like nothing I have ever seen before. It's transforming industries, improving our daily lives in many ways - some of it you see, some of it you don't see -and we are right now at an inflexion point.
