 |  [M] Toshiba N300 10TB NAS Hard Drive Review Thanks to the increased density and buffer size, we are seeing an increase of performance of the 10TB N300 versus the 8GB variant, matching the rated data transfer speeds from the product datasheet. The seek operations can be clearly heard when the drive is installed into a computer case, but this should be a non-issue when using the product in a home or SMB NAS. N300 was designed to operate in multi-drive NAS setups, so they have RV sensors integrated for detecting shocks and compensate rotational vibration. http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1001163/ |
