| Logisys White Laser LEDs In addition to typical cathodes, LEDs in various forms are finding their way into cases worldwide. Although more expensive and not as bright overall, LEDs last longer, use less energy, and produce minimal heat. Because of their small size, they're also a lot more versatile. Try placing a foot-long cathode in a modified SFF PC. "Laser LEDs" is a general term that refers to a cluster of LEDs bunched together in a tiny enclosure.
