LG revealed the OLED T, or as the firm calls it, "the first wireless transparent OLED TV", with 4K resolution and LG's wireless tech for sound and picture.

The unit also has a contrast screen that rolls down into a box at its base that you can lift or lower with the push of a button. The OLED T runs on LG's new Alpha 11 AI chip with four times the power of the old one.

The extra power gives 70 percent better graphics and 30 percent quicker speeds, the company says.

The OLED T model works with the firm's Zero Connect Box that came out on last year's M3 OLED that sends video and audio to the TV without wires.

All of your streaming devices and game consoles are plugged into the box instead of the TV. The OLED T's base has down-firing speakers. There are backlights too, but you can switch those off for a fully-transparent look (see picture). LG says the TV will come in standalone, against-the-wall and wall-mounted options.

There is no information on when the TV will hit the shops, or how much it will cost.
