Default LG: Firmware Update Will Halt Data Collection on Smart TV's

After LG fessed up to data collection on its smart TV's, the company has announced it will be releasing a firmware update to opt out of the collection of 'anonymous' tracking of personal usage. The Korean company is working on a firmware update that will disable the data transmission when users elect to turn it off.
