Stefan Mileschin [M] Reviewer Join Date: May 2010 Location: Romania Posts: 153,242	KIOXIA announces availability of XD8 series PCIe 5.0 E1.S SSDs The new KIOXIA XD8 series is the third generation of E1.S SSDs, is compliant with PCIe 5.0 (32GT/s x4) and NVMe 2.0 specifications, as well as support Open Compute Project (OCP) Datacenter NVMe SSD v2.5 specification. According to KIOXIA, the XD8 Series is based on an in-house controller, paired up with BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory.
