| Italian army runs away from Microsoft The Italian military is transitioning to LibreOffice and the Open Document Format (ODF) as part of a move to save cash by abandoning Microsoft. The Italian Ministry of Defence will over the next year-and-a-half install this suite of office productivity tools on some 150,000 PC workstations – making it Europe’s second largest LibreOffice implementation. The migration project will begin in October should be finished by the end of 2016. http://www.techeye.net/uncategorized...from-microsoft |
