| IR cameras creep into smartphones Find that burglar in the bushes A “tear down” by ABI Research said that infrared (IR) cameras are set to become more pervasive. The researchers tore apart a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and found it included an IR camera but for security purposes, using the technology to recognize people using iris recognitio.
