Default Intel unveils N-series mobile processors

Core i3 and Intel Processor with just E-cores

During its big CES 2023 unveil, Intel also announced its new N-series entry-level mobile processor, aimed at low-cost laptops, and featuring just E-cores.

Based on the same Intel 7 manufacturing process, the new N-series mobile CPUs will pack up to eight Gracemont E-cores, 6MB of L3 cache, and the Xe-LP iGPU with 32 EUs. The chip also comes with GNI 3.0 for AI acceleration and a dedicated image processing unit, which should be useful. The platform has wide support for DDR5, LPDDR5, DDR4, eMMC/UFS, and SSD support, and USB 3.
