 |  Intel i7 920 Processor Review Performance wise, core i7 is in a league of its own, the hyperthreading gives a real tangible boost to multithreaded applications (sometimes close to 2x faster), and when you overclock the processor (usually limited by heat rather than hitting a overclocking wall) its performance is unrivalled. http://www.xtremecomputing.co.uk/review.php?id=474
