The Basin Falls platform with Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X

The newest leaked revealed a bit more details about Intel's next high-end desktop (HEDT) platform that will include both Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X CPUs and be a part of the Basin Falls X-series platform.

As it was the case with previous Intel HEDT platforms, the new Basin Falls platform will bring a new socket, the LGA2066. Both Intel Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X processors are expected to be launched in a tight time-frame and both will fit into the same socket.
