Intel E8600 Overlocked to 4.9Ghz Using Air Cooling

Sometimes pictures say more than words:

The system consists of an Asus Rampage Extreme Motherboard; two HD4870X2 Video Cards. A 1200W Thermaltake Powersupply keeps it all running. The VGA cards were overclocked to 800Mhz on the core which really boosted scores in the benchmarks.

One of the those benchmarks which is really GPU dependent is 3DMark03, his air cooled setup with an E8600 running at 4.9Ghz scored 141475.

This score places his air cooled setup at first spot, as this is the currently the highest 3DMark03 score according to HWBot TOP 20 ranking. Of course these are the first HD 4870 X2 entries in the list
