Default Intel 670 Pentium 4 3.8Ghz 64Bit Processor

With Intel canceling their plans for any type of 4.0Ghz processor in the near future, Intel is focusing more and more on dual core and on other ways to make their chips faster other than increase the clock speed. The speed war is over, the efficiency battle has just begun. Because of these facts, this will be the fastest 64bit capable processor you will see in the 6xx range of Pentium 4s.

I am in no way unfairly bashing this processor, it is flawless. The only thing is, no one can afford one until they are obsolete.
Same here no bashing ..... temp tested on open bench means adding another 5 to 7°C to the mid 60°C cased; I don't think I will be interested in after obsolescent fire sale.

The recent report showing Intel Laptop processor sales increase of up to >30% of sales mix and slightly below sales forecast indicating the "warm" desktop Prescott is not doing so hot.
