 |  HP releases “world’s highest-performance AI PC.” OmniBook Ultra laptop pushes AMD to limits The maker of expensive printer ink HP has unveiled the OmniBook Ultra laptop, calling it the “world’s highest-performance AI PC.” The laptop features AMD’s new Ryzen AI 300 series processors, capable of up to 55 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This performance is achieved through a “deep co-engineering” partnership with AMD, resulting in a custom solution for the Ryzen AI 300 series. The OmniBook Ultra, which is aimed at consumers, will be released in August. HP showcased the laptop at its Imagine AI event in New York, highlighting its AI capabilities. Alex Cho, president of personal systems at HP, emphasised AI's transformative potential for enhancing productivity and creativity. “In this era, our vision is to make sure that people can unlock the power of AI and transform how they think about work and [how they are] connecting with other people and getting things done.
