| HP Creating Flexible, Solar Powered Watch For US Military It's no secret that the U.S. Forces get all sorts of cool gadget toys. But this one might be enough to make more than a few gadget enthusiasts really jealous. HP is crafting a one-of-a-kind flexible solar-powered commando watch for our nation's soldiers. Carl Taussig, director of information surfaces at HP Labs in Palo Alto, California comments, "We call it a **** Tracy watch. It doesn't break. It's thin. It's potentially flexible." HP hopes to have a prototype completed within a year. The watch's flexible plastic display will be capable of displaying maps and other strategic information to soldiers in remote combat fields. HP plans on giving the watch to a handful of lucky soldier for testing before deciding whether to pursue a big contract. http://www.dailytech.com/HP+Unveils+...ticle18442.htm
