| HDMI to Mini DisplayPort cables ruled illegal The HDMI Organisation, which is responsible for licensing the HDMI connection standard, has announced that Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cables are unlicensed, and should be removed from sale immediately. The news, which was reported first by TechRadar means that the hundreds of thousands of adaptor cables in the supply chain can’t be sold, as the HDMI Organisation has deemed them to be outside of the HDMI specification. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardwar...t+News+Feed%29
