| Hauppauge MediaMVP Review The MediaMVP is a low-cost media streaming device, that runs Linux on an IBM PowerPC CPU. With the new Software update the device can stream DivX video besides MPEG2 and MPEG1 video. The MediaMVP decodes MPEG-2 natively on its hardware, which frees up the PC and streaming does not use much resources. A completely different situation is with DivX encoded videos.
