| GPU cycles getting back to normal Nvidia and AMD doing rather well Beancounters at Jon Peddie Research has been pondering the use of GPUS in PCs and say things are starting to get back to normal after the PC market plummeted over recent years. The report said that the PC market seems to have regained the normal seasonality curve. This is where the third quarter was the best, the second quarter is pants, the fourth quarter is flat to a little up and first quarter is flat to a little down. The fourth quarter for 2016 was flat in unit shipments from the previous quarter and down For fourth quarter '16 from last quarter, it was above the ten-year average of -3.40 per cent.
