Sending money directly through Gmail? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, I'm just going to let other people try it out first. Hovering over the attachment paperclip in Gmail email compose window reveals the attachment options. There, the "$" symbol can be clicked on in order to send money. Simply click on it , enter the amount and press send. This service is only available when Gmail is accessed through desktop and it will be rolled out in the near future in the U.S. to users over the age of 18.
