| Google Photos 3.0 Will Automatically Share Your Pictures The next version of Google Photos is debuting with automatic sharing powered by facial recognition. The app is pretty cool, particularly for Pixel owners (who get unlimited photo and video storage at full resolution), but the company is not even trying to hide what occurs behind the scenes now. While the new feature appears to be optional and requires some specificity, I am sure that someone is going to accidentally share something they didn't intend to. ...we're rolling out suggested sharing and shared libraries this week, which we recently announced at Google I/O. Suggested sharing uses machine learning to automatically identify photos and suggest recipients, making sharing as simple as a single tap. With shared libraries, sending and receiving photos with one person is effortless—you can automatically share your full photo library or customize just what you want to share. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2017/06/...ur_pic tures/ |
