Default Geforce GTX 275 to go up against Radeon HD 4890 ?

Earlier today Expreview flashed some information regarding a possible Geforce GTX 275 which would be released to go up against the upcoming ATI HD 4890. Rumored to be an overclocked GTX 260 with 650Mhz GPU and 1100Mhz memory, there is not much info available on the web. The GTX 275 would fit in between the GTX 260 and GTX 285. Where the original GTX 280 ends up is anybody's guess.

Price wise don't expect a bargain, between $250~300 would not be unreasonable. Knowning that there are plenty of heavily overclocked GTX 260 editions being sold, this GTX 275 might have some stiff competition from NVIDIA's own products, on top of the Radeon series from AMD.

No source linkage, since the story as been removed from the original site.

Huh? NVIDIA is crazy... GTX 260 Core 16 is almost identical to a GTX 285, only one more TPU cluster is active.
