Default GECUBE Launch RADEON® X850XT AGP and RADEON® X800XL AGP Series

Taipei – March 2, 2005 Info-Tek Corporation, production supplier for the leading global graphics card brand GECUBETM, announced today the release of the world’s highest-end AGP-interface graphics cards – the GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP and GECUBE RADEON® X800XL AGP series. The GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP and GECUBE RADEON® X800XL AGP series are based on the unrivaled high-speed ATI AGP graphics chips to provide gamers with the extreme performance of the new PCI Express interface without the need to upgrade existing AGP-based computers.

l GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP Series

The GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP series employs the world-leading ATI super-high speed AGP graphics chip which provides 16 pixel shader pipelines for top speed and performance. The GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP series also provides full support for Microsoft® DirectX® version 9.0C, which provides software acceleration for hardware pixel shader and vertex shader engines, and the advanced graphics engine displays stunning 3D environments to give gamers an even more “inside the game” experience. Additionally, the GECUBE RADEON® X850XT AGP series supports today’s most widely used graphics card interface standard, the AGP 8X interface, so that consumers do not have to spend extra money on motherboard upgrades to enjoy the speed of the newer PCI Express interface.

l GECUBE RADEON® X800XL AGP Series

The GECUBE RADEON® X800XL AGP series uses the ATI® RADEON® X800XL PCIe graphics chip and includes the latest internal PCI Express - AGP bridge chip technology developed by ATI®, so that the core graphics processor developed for the PCI Express interface can be used with AGP 8X motherboards. The GECUBE RADEON® X800XL AGP series supports 16 pixel shader pipelines, 6 vertex engines and over 160 million transistor pipelines for extreme 3D image processing, providing smooth and refined image display and enhanced color saturation.

Larry Yeo, General Manager of Info-Tek's Multimedia Business Unit said, “High-end AGP-interface graphics cards allow more consumers to experience the power and performance of GECUBE products. In the future, GECUBE will invest even more resources in graphics card development and innovation to provide a wider range of choices for customers to satisfy various user requirements."
