BOXX Targets Gamers with GameBOXX Series of Workstation-Class Gaming Systems

New High-Performance Gaming Systems Offer Robust Gaming Experience

AUSTIN, TX — October 23, 2003 — BOXX Technologies a leading developer of XXtreme
award-winning digital content creation systems for the game development, design, entertainment
and digital film industries today announces GameBOXX, the first true workstation-class gaming
system strong enough for game developers and gutsy enough for intense gamers.

The GameBOXX series is based on BOXX’s award-winning 3DBOXX workstation technology,
which is in the development pipelines of prominent game development studios on the planet. And
now with GameBOXX, gamers can experience the same level of power and performance from a
BOXX system that game developers rely on to develop and test their games.

“Rock solid is the best way to describe GameBOXX,” says Ed Caracappa, director of sales and
marketing at BOXX. "BOXX continues to successfully deliver systems to the game development
community and after reviewing the competitive landscape, we realized that we offer more rightout-
of-the-box performance than anyone currently selling PC-based gaming systems,” explains
Caracappa. “We've redesigned the GameBOXX chassis to be more ‘gamer friendly’ and will
deliver these systems with the same level of performance, reliability and support that we deliver
to the professional content creation market. This announcement is a boon for the PC gaming
community!"

GameBOXX EX features the latest Intel® Pentium® 4 processors, running under 32-bit Windows
for outstanding system performance and realistic game play. The highly anticipated Pentium 4
Extreme Edition (XE) processor will be available in the GameBOXX EX series as the processor
becomes available.

GameBOXX FX incorporates the new AMD Athlon™ 64 FX-51 processor, a new Windowscompatible
64-bit processor, for a true-to-life digital entertainment experience.

Pricing and availability

GameBOXX is scheduled to ship November 1, 2003. Pricing varies with system configuration.
Customers should contact BOXX toll-free at 877-877-BOXX or email sales@boxxtech.com.
