| G71 is the Geforce 7900 WE'VE HEARD the Geforce 7900 name before. Some people mentioned it earlier, this is the first time we could confirm it from several independent sources. It seems that Nvidia plans to use Geforce 7900 xxx for its G71 chip. It can be GTX, GT or goodness knows what else now. G71 is Nvidia's first serious 90 nanometre chip that is supposed to fight and according to win over the R580, Radeon X1900 XTX. As far as we are aware, it is still not quite ready and is not launched either.
