| G.Skill rolls out new Trident Z Royal Elite DDR4 kits Tight latencies and up to 128GB G.Skill has announced its newest high-speed, low-latency memory kits that will be available as part of its well-known Trident Z Royal Elite series. Featuring Samsung B-die ICs, the new kits will feature extremely low CL14 latencies, a feat that is not easy to achieve on high-speed dual-ranked memory modules. Available in frequencies of up to DDR4-4000 these kits are based on 16GB modules with CL14-15-15-35 latencies. The tightest kit available is the DDR4-3600 CL14-14-14-34 kit available in 16GB (8GBx2) and up to 128GB (16GBx8) kits and verified running on ASUS ROG ZENITH II EXTREME motherboard with AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X CPU. The announced Trident Z Royal Elite low-latency kits include DDR4-4000 kits available in 8GBx2 and 16GBx2 kits running at 1.5V and CL14-15-15-35 latencies, and a wide range of DDR4-3600 kits running at 1.45V at CL14-14-14-34 latencies.
