| actually quite happy with iTunes, was using Winamp before to "manage" my music library, but was convinced to use iTunes with the smart playlists feature to filter through music and rate it accordingly, the genius mixes are also easy to use by the layman; combine itunes with apple airport and "remote" app on ipod touch/iphone and you got music playing throughout your house controlled with a remote inside your phone
