EVGA unveiled no less than three new 1600W power supplies at Computex, including the 1600 G2 (recently announced), the 1600 T2, and the 1600 P2. Their model names should be a dead giveaway on how the three differ from each other. While the 1600 G2 lives up to 80 Plus Gold efficiency standards, the 1600 P2 scores 80 Plus Platinum, and the 1600 T2 80 Plus Titanium. The three feature nearly identical power-distribution diagrams, feature-sets; although we're not sure if the P2 and T2 translate their higher efficiency into more output connectors. Either of the three should be good enough for systems with four R9 290X, or two R9 295X2 graphics cards; but we guess the 1600 P2 and 1600 T2 should appeal to professional overclockers who also plan to throw 150W TDP Core i7-5960X "Haswell-E" into the mix.
