Default EVGA launches GTX 1080 FTW2/SC2 with 11GHz memory

Optional BIOS update in tow

EVGA has updated its Geforce GTX 1080 lineup with new GTX 1080 FTW2 and GTX 1080 SC2 graphics cards which will be equipped with 11GHz memory chips.

The new 11GHz memory chips, paired up with a 256-bit memory interface on the GTX 1080, will allow the 8GB of GDDR5X memory on the Geforce GTX 1080 FTW2 and the GTX 1080 SC2 to hit a maximum memory bandwidth of 352.51GB/s, improving the performance even further.
