| Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Beta Performance We will begin this look at the open-beta Quake Wars engine settings with the texture qualities. We have four sliders here. One for the level of Diffuse, Bump, and Specular texture qualities. Additionally, there is a slider for Anisotropic Filtering. We began testing this setting by change each slider individually. However, the change in appearance was so slight, and the effect on performance was so small, that we decided to alter our test. We decided lock each setting to one another, and tested the four sliders at 'Full', 'Middle', and 'Off', to see what effect it had on performance. http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Ha...s_performance/
