Default Danamics LMX Superleggera Cooler Review

Unfortunately, Danamics LMX Superleggera turned out 6°C less efficient than Noctua NH-D14 super-cooler in quiet mode and at maximum rotation speed of their two fans. However, the coolers that cost half of Danamics’ price also lose the same 6°C to the Noctua solution (take, for instance, Zalman CNPS10X Performa). So, we can conclude that all innovations introduced by Danamics didn’t really justify all the research and development investments, large size and high price of Danamics LMX Superleggera.

So, what have we ended up with? For over 100 Euros you can purchase a not very neatly made heatsink with an excessively thick base and wobbling plates, hot Power Booster 2, a pair of fans with nonadjustable rotation speed which are therefore quite noisy, and far not the record-breaking efficiency you are looking for. It is clear that in this case it will be very difficult for Danamics LMX Superleggera to compete successfully against good air-coolers. Despite all these drawbacks, we have to admit that liquid metal and electromagnetic pump really do work.
