| Crysis 32 vs 64-bit Vista Performance Comparison After much messing about in the very early hours of the morning, I finally worked out why the 64-bit version of Crysis would not run. For some reason in the Nvidia control panel when the V-Sync option is set to "Use the 3D application setting" and the Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration setting on "Multiple display performance mode" the 64-bit version would instantly lock up. Changing these settings to “Force On” and “Single display performance” allowed us to finally run the 64-bit version. | as if Vista is to blame for 32-bit... it's not as if there are tons of 64-bit drivers/applications out there;

| it's not that simple, and you should know that if they only made 64-bit, they would upset a lot of software developers, as their programs should be recoded for both 32-bit (2000/xp) and 64-bit (vista), doubling development costs...

| Still cheaper than having to supper 2 Versions of Vista for hardware manufactures and software developers. |

| well, no. Since most just ignore 64-bit Crytek is expection rather than rule
