| Crucial v4 SSD review: very cheap 128 / 256GB SSDs, very low performance The Crucial v4s are pretty much the cheapest SSDs you can currently find, so it's not fair to expect the best performance. That said, the v4s are a lot slower than all other current SSDs, even the already slow OCZ Petrols. You get what you pay for, and in this case it's not a whole lot. It's almost an inevitable result of the price war that's been going on in the world of SSDs.
