Create your own DeskTop PC with Gigabyte MIB T5140

When most of your working space is invaded by a giant chassis, what solutions can you think of to protect your territory? Spend a fortune for an all-in-one desktop PC and give away your original monitor? Or replace the big size case with a small ITX case and give up the potential future of upgradeability and expansibility needs?

Now you have a brand new case option, the MIB – Monitor Integrated Box – offered by GIGABYTE, not only can it solve the space problem, it is also economically efficient, upgradable and expandable for PC components.

The design concept is to bring the chassis back to the table, not because it is slim or small, but because our "Hinge" design combines the monitor and case. Through this design GIGABYTE creates new PC usage from system point of view.

The hinge can support almost 100% of LCD monitor, as long as the monitor is VESA standard. (75*75 and 100*100cm) Most of monitor is using this kind of standard, except Apple. It can support up to 24 inch LCD monitor. The best size to come with this chassis is 22"

You might ask: Why it is kind of big? But actually it won't waste extra space! We just use space of foot stand of LCD monitor which is unused space. And the case is bit bigger than cases of our competitors, but this case uses standard components (NOT slimline or notebook components) Customers can build up the system by different combination.

The MIB is more Flexible than an all in one PC, can be upgraded easy with standard components so your pc is always up to date. Since it uses standard parts, and service is easy and broken components can be replaced with standard components, and there is no need of sending the complete system back to a service center.

The MIB T5140 color retail packing will include the case, the “hinge” and a 65W PSU for ATOM boards. The MIB T5140 is expected to be available in week 37.
