Default Chinese and Taiwanese Companies To Gain Controlling Stake of JDI

A group of investors from China and Taiwan and the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan have signed a memorandum of understanding under which they will invest in Japan Display Inc. about $715 million and will become the largest shareholder of the manufacturer. The MOU was signed on Friday and it looks like it will be accepted by all parties.
