| BitTorrent Traffic Booms Due to "Licensing Challenges" There's good news and bad news in the P2P world in general and BitTorrent specifically. The good news is in the United States the use of P2P clients has fallen dramatically to an all-time low. The flip side of that coin is the bad news for the rest of the world where file sharing has almost quadrupled in the past 18 months. The challenge for the entertainment industry in the years to come is not to invent ways to stop piracy but to make it less attractive. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/05/..._challeng es/ |
