| BitFenix - Introducing Comrade (BitFenix Design Lab, December 19, 2013) – Today, BitFenix is pleased to release a new case design for first-time users and builders on a budget. Dubbed Comrade, the latest case from the BitFenix Design Lab brings with it premium features and functionality with a price tag that's a friendly as ever. With Comrade, builders who want a stylish yet well-built case can have it all without breaking the bank. Premium Features. Revolutionary Value. With subtle curves and clean yet uncluttered lines, Comrade delivers the kind of design language that BitFenix is famous for. The modern, understated design fits into just about any environment, and is also available in both Midnight Black and Arctic White to suit your particular décor. The front panel comes with a smooth micro-texture that lends a premium feel – a perfect canvas for the high-quality aluminum logo badge in the center. On the inside, users will find plenty of room for their system, including clearance for CPU tower coolers up to 160mm in height, as well as long graphics card support up to 30cm in length. The modern layout makes it easy for builders to not only build but upgrade their system in the future. Three optical drive bays and three 3.5" HDD bays offer plenty of storage potential, and the dedicated 2.5" disk rack is perfect for installing up to three high-speed SSDs. What's more, the bottom mounted PSU location offers plenty of room for even the most beefy power supplies on the market. Comrade comes with a bevy of useful and friendly features that normally come with chassis costing twice as much. Features like tool-free drive locking make installing storage devices such as optical devices and hard disks an exceedingly simple affair, and the removable front and bottom dust filters help keep the insides of your system clean while being remarkably easy to maintain. The independent I/O shield with USB 3.0 port makes first-time setup incredibly easy by allowing users to simply pull of the front panel to access their drives and fans without worrying about pulling out cabling with it. With features like premium all-black cabling and rolled-edge cable pass-throughs to help protect internal wiring, PC builders have never been treated to so much case for so little money. BitFenix Comrade will be available on store shelves in December. For more information on Comrade, please visit http://www.bitfenix.com.
