Default Atom CPU to get speed bump in Q1 2010

Intel's Netbook 2009 platform known as Pine-trail M (Mobile) is about to get faster. At launch in Q1 2010, Intel will add a new Atom N470 clocked at a record 1.83GHz. This is still a single core mobile CPU with an integrated IGP and hyper threading support. The CPU itself has 6.5W TPD which is more than double more compared to N270 1.6GHz Atom, but you have to remember that Atom N470 has 200MHz IGP integrated and the TDP is now calculated for both chips. The memory runs at 667MHz and we are talking about DDR2 support and the new chip still uses BGA 22x22mm packaging.
