Default ATI partners are delighted with HD2000 sales

HAVING TALKED with several ATI graphics card partners, we hear that things are looking up. It seems that even though performance is not exactly shining, the fact that the firm's HD 2000 boards come in at a very competitive price and consume practically half the power of the competition's offerings was strong sales point. Apparently, with OEMs grabbing literally millions of cards for the back-to-school period, there was still more than enough boards for partners to put in the channel.
