| ASUS BC-1205PT Blu-Ray drive review The side of the packaging gives us a more in-depth guide to this drives read and write speeds - The highlight of the bunch is, of course, BD-ROM support, with 5x reading capabilities claimed here. DVD-ROM reading can be performed at up to 12x, with CD-ROM support coming in at 32x. As far as disc writing is concerned, DVD+/-R is supported at up to 12x, DVD+/-RW up to 6x, dual-layer DVD+/-R at 4x, with DVD-RAM also supported at up to 5x (all dependant on discs capable of utilising those speeds of course). Finally, CD-R and CD-RW writing is available at up to 24x. Of course, we'll be testing all of this in due course to see just how well this drive performs. http://www.elitebastards.com/cms/ind...93&Item id=27
