| ASUS Announces its GeForce GT 740 Series ASUS launched a trio of GeForce GT 740 graphics cards, the GT740-2GD3, which sticks to reference clock speeds of 933 MHz core and 1750 MHz (DDR), featuring 2 GB of DDR3 memory; the GT740-1GD5, featuring factory-overclocked speeds of 1053 MHz, and an untouched 5.00 GHz GDDR5 memory clock; and its 2 GB variant, the GT740-2GD5. Based on the 28 nm GK107 silicon, the GeForce GT 740 offers 384 CUDA cores 32 TMUs, 16 ROPs, and a 128-bit wide memory interface.
