Default Apple has cut-down versions of its M1 Pro and M1 Max SoCs

It appears that the cheapest 14-inch MacBook Pro 2021, starting at $1,999, will come with a crippled M1 Pro SoC, one that we did not have a chance to see or hear about during Apple's Mac keynote. Apple will also have a cut-down version of the M1 Max SoC for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro as well.
