| Apple Aggressively Recruiting Ex-Google Maps Staff With all of the flap about the state of iOS6 maps since the release of iPhone 5, it should not come as much of a surprise that Apple would be recruiting employees and contractors who are or have been working on the Google Map project to help get Apple's mapping platform on track. Apple has a lot of catching up to do if it wants to build a robust mapping platform to counter Google Maps, so it doesn't surprise me that it's going out of its way to lure former and current Google Maps employees. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/09/...le_maps_staff/ |
