| AMD Sempron chip ships on the 17th CHIP FIRM AMD may have announced its cut-down Sempr0n microprocessors at the end of July, but according to Akiba PC Hotline, they won't ship in Japan until the 17th of August, the date we predicted at the end of June. The Japanese web site describes five models, the 3100+, the 2800+, the 2600+, the 2500+ and the 2400+ as all being available on the 17th, priced in retail at ¥16,000, ¥13,800, ¥11,000, ¥9,800 and ¥7,800 respectively. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=17567 anybody up for an overclocking article?
