| AMD Schedules 65nm Tyler Launch For Q2 07 The Tyler series—replacement parts for the AMD Turion 64 X2 (codenamed Taylor) CPUs—will be launched in the second quarter of next year, noted the makers. Compared to the Rev F reference platform, AMD's Rev G (resident in 638-pin Socket S1) supports 65nm silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology and, in addition, DDR2-800 memory, the makers indicated. The 35W Tyler will extend model numbers for the current Rev F Turion 64 X2—TL-XX, the makers said.
