| AMD's RS690 has six kids ATI IS preparing a new chipset. We wrote about that one quite a lot in the last few days. The last thing we figurated out came from our proud Chilean friends. These guys really have the ATI chipset connections. Anyway AMD will release four chipsets. The first one is the RS690M which sounds like a mobile part to me. After checking we confirmed that the first three chipsets are mobile ones. ATI was always very good with chipset power consumption. RD580 doesn’t need a lot of power. RS690MC is the basic chipset without TSMD inside so it will support VGA out only but it will also end up cheaper. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=36227
