Optimizations for Shadows of the Tomb Raider

AMD has released its newest Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.9.1 driver which brings optimizations for Shadows of the Tomb Raider and Star Control: Origins games as well as a couple of bug fixes.

According to the release notes, the new driver will bring day one support for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which launched earlier today and already has a decent 78 score on Metacritic, and Stardock's Star Control: Origins, which comes on September 20th.

In addition to the support for these two games, the new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.9.1 driver fixes several issues including FreeSync issue with Monster Hunter: World, issues with Radeon Settings missing in the right-click context menu after Radeon Software installation, issues where AMD link might fail to connect on Android Pie devices, issues with Radeon Settings error message due to driver and Radeon Settings version mismatch, issues with cursor or system lag when two or more displays are connected with one being off, and issues with instability while recording some DirectX 12 games with Radeon Live on Radeon R9 290 and R9 390 series graphics cards.

The Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.9.1 is available for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 10 OS and supports all AMD Radeon graphics cards since HD 7700/7900 series, as well as AMD Ryzen Raven Ridge APUs, the Ryzen 5 2400G and the Ryzen 3 2200G.
