| AMD releases four second generation Ryzen chips AMD has announced the global availability of its second Generation AMD Ryzen desktop processors, which it claims, offer up to 15 percent higher gaming performance than the first generation. Dubbed the Ryzen 7 2700X, Ryzen 7 2700, Ryzen 5 2600X, and Ryzen 5 2600 come with features like Precision Boost 2 and Extended Frequency Range 2 (XFR 2). Each second generation Ryzen processor comes equipped with an AMD Wraith Cooler inside the retail box. Additionally, AMD’s flagship Ryzen 7 2700X CPU includes the new Wraith Prism cooler featuring better thermal performance, an upgraded fan profile, and enhanced lighting capabilities with per-RGB controls. The new AMD X470 chipset supports all second-generation Ryzen desktop processors on Socket AM4 motherboards and comes with a free download of AMD’s new StoreMI technology software. StoreMI technology allows end users to blend up to 256GB of performance storage, such as NVMe or SATA SSD, with high capacity SSD or HDD storage into a single automated Virtual SSD. Machine Intelligent Storage learns how you use your system and dynamically adapts to provide SSD performance for all of your active applications and stores less frequently accessed data on the capacity drive. https://fudzilla.com/news/processors...on-ryzen-chips |
