AMD Radeon RX 6700 series to launch in March

According to a fresh report, AMD could launch its Radeon RX 6700 series in March, rather than earlier this year. Based on Navi 22 GPU, the rumored RX 6700 series specifications suggest we could have great mid-range cards on the market.

While earlier rumors suggested that the RX 6700 series could launch as early as the end of January, the latest information from Cowcotland, citing unnamed sources, suggests that the RX 6700 series is scheduled to launch in the end of the first quarter this year, which lines up with the end of March.

Cowcotland also had some specifications to share, reporting that the RX 6700 series will be based on Navi 22 GPU, which packs a total of up to 40 Compute Units, or 2560 Stream Processors. This means that the RX 6700XT will be exactly half the full Navi 21 chip, or the flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card.
