Default AMD officially announces entry-level A520 desktop chipset

Same CPU support as B550 but no PCIe 4.0

AMD has officially announced its latest entry-level A520 desktop chipset for 3rd generation CPUs and it comes with identical CPU support as the B550 chipset, but without support for PCIe 4.0.

As rumored and detailed earlier, the AMD A520 chipset completely lacks PCIe Gen 4 support and lacks overclocking or dual graphics support. When compared to the previously available A320 chipset, the A520 has PCIe 3.0 support as well as adds two more PCIe lanes from the chipset.
